Writer's Workshop Wednesday
Each Wednesday we will focus on writing.  We will learn how to organize our thoughts and use them to write an informative essay.  We will do this to help prepare for the state writing assessment. I will use a rubric to grade their writing in the same way the state grades it.   Students are expected to participate and complete the assignments.  Writer's workshop will be a big part of your student's final grade.

In Language Arts we will spend the first 3 weeks of each grading period working on grammar skills.  The last 3 weeks we will work on reading skills.  Remember that we devote every Wednesdays to writing.

Assignments for the class are posted weekly.  Please understand that plans may change.  You can check your student's planner to ensure that the assignment is correct.  Planners will be checked weekly for a participation grade.
