My goal is to prepare students to observe and apply math concepts and problem solving strategies in their real lives. I want them to be successful as seventh graders, and as future leaders. We will study numbers and operations, geometry, algebra, measurement, and data and statistics. We will learn through a variety of activities including lectures, discussions, actitivies, and writing.

Students are expected to be prepared for class everyday.
We are off to a great start. Students are working very hard and I appreciate their efforts. Below you will find a list of assignments for each class. Blue is for math. Red is for Reading. Green is for Advanced Math.
We are studying exponents and powers in math. Students will be using lessons 1-2, 11-1, 11-2 and 1-9.
In advance math we are studying integers and will be working with these positive and negative numbers for a couple of weeks. We will be looking at lessons 1-3 thru 1-7.
