Monthly Poem
April Showers Bring May Flowers!
Like the flowers we'll soon see blooming, Kindergarten is FULL of budding first graders! During the month, All students are bringing home sight-word lists to study at home. It is very important that students read these nightly to help them memorize them by sight! We would like for students to be reading 50 words or more by the time they leave us in May. Remember to read to your child nightly! This is the leading way to help your child become a reader! Book logs are due at least once a month. Remember our goal is to have each child log 200 books or more and we have several who have already met this goal!
Don't forget to celebrate Mother's Day!

Please remember that Kindergarten is collecting Box Tops for Education from ALL John Hay students! Any student within John Hay is welcome to bring them to us! The deadline for these is March 31st for the year. THANKS
