8/17/07 - We've have a great first week.  I think everyone is getting used to the routine.  Next week we will begin having homework assignments.  I try to avoid weekend homework, but I can't make any promises!  If you find that your child is having an excessive amount of homework in my English class, then we probably need to discuss the situation.  I generally give class time to begin working, so the work time at home shouldn't be more than about 30 minutes.  Have a great weekend!

8/16/05 - We're off to a great start!  You should have received a letter informing you of my classroom policies and grading procedures.  Please keep the letter for future reference and return the signed portion to me by Friday.  Your child will receive a 100 daily grade for returning the paper on time.

8/9/07 - Welcome back to school!  Today you should have picked up your registration forms.  There are several forms to be filled out and brought back to school on Monday, which is the first full day of school.  I'm looking forward to a fantastic year.
